My Journey To Becoming an Entry-Level UX Designer.

Hello 👋🏼, my name is Hyeladzira Simon. I am an entry-level UX designer, and I’m passionate about creating usable digital products. The reason for starting this blog is to document my journey and experiences 😊.

I'm currently participating in the Friends of Figma Africa Design Mentorship in UX Design.

During the pandemic, I got to check out many apps and websites for activities I could engage in to keep me busy and notice how some apps could be organised better to give users a better experience and also provide accessibility to the disabled. The items on a page and navigations could have been in a different order, to make better sense to the visitors. The texts could have been bolder and clearer or the app could have a narrator, and many more.

Now, I want to specify in usability of digital products.

I'm in search of my first entry-level role, and I'm looking forward to working with incredibly talented people across different companies.

When I’m not working, I live with my parents in Nigeria and I bake.
